Autumn's new looks

After the summer we always feel like a change of look. Either because of the state of our hair or because of the beginning of a new school year, we like to go with a renewed image. For the season, some trends that never go out of fashion are maintained and others are more daring and marked.

Manes: long, medium and short

Long hair is a classic. For this season we are looking for 70's styles, rocker look, very natural and full of movement: curly hairstyles with open and carefree waves.

Half-lengths have been in fashion for a few years now. More and more celebrities are turning to this style, but for this autumn/winter we're going to leave them a little longer.

The long bob (ideal for fine, slightly wavy hair) is a very successful style because it flatters almost all features. If you are more daring, the 'swag' style. Both cuts go down to the collarbone, but the latter has a dense, messy fringe.

Shorter 'carre' styles (straight bob all in one layer) or the classic 'bob' (short in the back and long in the front), all in one layer or slightly frizzy, are still in fashion.

Both medium and long haircuts can be accompanied by fringes, which are a timeless element, a great way to rejuvenate or accentuate the look. It suits almost everyone, either side-parted, straight or straight, slightly parted in the middle, and for this season it will be long and bushy.

Short cuts

Of course, if you're short on time and want to wear a flattering and fashionable look, short cuts are your thing.

Pixie cut: a youthful look that is short at the nape of the neck and sides, leaving the front area to create different styles, with the possibility of leaving it short, long asymmetrical side bangs......

If you are not so daring, the "garçon" style never goes out of fashion.

For the more daring 'punk' style: the sides shaved with clippers and the top part cut with a razor. To highlight this style even more, you can add a different tone to the top.

Colour

After the summer the hair is very worn out and the colours are slightly oxidised. Our skin starts to lose its colour and becomes white. That's why a 'ronze' tone (brown colours with coppery highlights) is ideal, as it will give more intensity to the colour and the warm highlights will favour our features, which are losing the tan of the skin. Caramel tones on their own or with a worn out or balayage in pastel tones are also a great resource for this autumn-winter.

There are always those who want to keep their blonde and pure platinum or with dark roots will continue to be worn after the summer, without forgetting the ice colours that will continue to be a trend throughout 2016.

For the youngest and most daring, the mix of bright and contrasting colours: blues, lilacs, pinks, intense reds...

For men

We can't forget about men's hair styling. The style par excellence throughout 2016 is the 'undercut' (short with clippers on the sides and long in the central area), for its wide variety of hairstyles: with a tuft, on the side, with a marked parting, unmarked, with a gradient on the sides... This style adapts to the taste of the vast majority. Although we cannot forget the 'hipster' style of long hair with a ponytail at the top and its multitude of beard finishes, another of the great triumphs of men's fashion in recent years. Accompanying these two styles, side-swept fringe cuts and frizzy mid-lengths complete the men's autumn/winter trend. In colour, cool platinum and fantasy colours provide a wide range of styles for the end of 2016.
